About Michele

 Hello, I’m Michele D. Shetter-Mellinger and I’m very excited to be the owner of one of the finest music educational studios in the Fishers area. With a B.S. degree in  Music Education from Indiana State University, I have twenty years teaching experience as an Indiana public school vocal director, piano instructor and a choreographer.

Under my vocal and choreographic direction, my show choirs have won consecutive National Titles from 2003 to 2006. My competitive vocal groups have many Grand Champions in vocals, choreography, best soloists, best show instrumentalists, best original show concepts and best over all musical general effect.

When not at the studio, I really enjoy working with students of all ages in music programs in our schools. I adore spending time with my own two boys, Nathan, 16 and Joshua 14. You will always find me sitting on the sidelines watching my boys’ tennis matches and football games or at school band concerts! Sneaking away to soak up the sounds of live theatre and music in NYC is an absolute treasure to me.

Michele’s Studio is a passion of mine. I’ve wanted to create a place where all are welcome and can experience the beautiful world of Performing Arts. Hope to meet you soon.
